After having his primary, secondary and college level education in Goa went to Mumbai for his higher education in Chemical Technology at UDCT- Mumbai. He got M.Sc(Tech) procuring Second Rank at the University.
He got his MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad in 1984. After working in the Industry at various levels he took over in 1991, as CEO of a large company manufacturing and marketing (Domestic & International) Agrochemicals, Pesticides. Travelled extensively to Gulf Countries, Europe, USA, Latin America for improving the market share in International Market. He has been the Founder Chairman and MD of Vibha Natural Products Ltd since the inception of the company in 1996. As MD he is responsible for implementation of various policies of the Board, including aggressive marketing strategy to position the company brand firmly in the national and international market including Oman, Saudi Arabia, Holland etc.
